The Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) has been modernised and republished on 30 September 2025 to embed quality, improve contract preparation and enable future construction practices.

This information hub exists to support MCHW users transition to the updated MCHW, published in September 2025. This MCHW refresh includes consequential amendments to the DMRB.
