Where do I find the updated MCHW?

All MCHW documents are published on and available to download from the Standards for Highways website.

Refer to the section on the new MCHW structure for details on the set of information available to download.

Where do I find the old MCHW?

Older MCHW documents are published on and available to download from the Standards for Highways website. There are two options to find and download files:

  1. Use the date functionality to find standards applicable at a given date.
  2. Access the dedicated “Older Versions” search area on the Standards for Highways website, accessed from the shortcut in the top-right.

For documents using the old numbering system (e.g Series 1500), make sure that you are typing the correct document number including “0” like in Series 0900 (MCHW) or TD 09/93 (DMRB) to return a valid document.
