LC 120 – Landscape and Ecology
- A few clauses have been removed and replaced, based on the following principles
- Planting sundries, including tree shelters/guards, shall be biodegradable and free of plastics
- Mulch mats, including individual mulch mats and sheet mulch, shall be of biodegradable, non plastic material that naturally degrades into harmless substances within three to five years; black, olive green or brown in colour.
- Adjustable tree ties, strapping and spacers used shall be made of biodegradable materials that naturally degrade into harmless substances and support the tree for a minimum of five years after installation.
- Individual plant protectors and guards shall be green, brown, black or translucent and of biodegradable, non-plastic material, that is able to degrade naturally into harmless substances within 3-5 years.
- The planting establishment period shall be 5 years
- The landscape and ecological planting establishment period for landscape and ecological works shall be 5 years.
- Planting sundries, including tree shelters/guards, shall be biodegradable and free of plastics
- Turf – Requirement removed (see old Part 14 in 3005).
LC 127 – Fencing
Requirements relating to the painting of timber Fences, Gates, Stiles and Posts have been removed.
